These Terms and Conditions ('Terms') govern your use of the services provided by Adam Hughes (doing business as AlignSlot) ('we', 'us', or 'our'). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Definitions

• 'Services' means the AlignSlot booking platform, including the embeddable booking widget, business dashboard, and all related features.
• 'Business' means any restaurant, salon, or other establishment that subscribes to our Services.
• 'Customer' means any end user who makes a booking through the Services.
• 'Subscription' means the recurring payment plan under which a Business accesses the Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement to use our Services. By subscribing, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Registration

To use the Services, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscription & Pricing

• The Services are offered on a monthly subscription basis at £79 per month.
• There are no per-cover fees or hidden charges.
• Payment is due at the start of each billing cycle and is processed automatically via your chosen payment method.
• Prices may change with 30 days' written notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time. No contracts or lock-in periods.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. Access continues until the end of your paid period.
• Upon cancellation, your booking widget will stop accepting new bookings, but existing bookings remain accessible for 30 days.

6. Use of the Services

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not:

• Use the Services for any fraudulent or unlawful activity
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Services

7. White-Label & Branding

The booking widget is designed to reflect your business branding. You retain full ownership of your brand assets (logos, colours, names). We do not claim any rights over your brand materials. You grant us a limited licence to display your branding solely within the widget for the purpose of providing the Services.

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring that your collection and use of customer data through the Services complies with all applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR. We act as a data processor on your behalf for customer booking data.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Services (excluding your brand materials and customer data) belong to us. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our trademarks, logos, or brand name except as necessary to use the Services.

10. Availability & Support

• We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Services.
• Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where reasonably possible.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill arising from your use of the Services.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if you breach these Terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to us, other users, or third parties. We will provide reasonable notice where possible.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Services at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
